A 7 Day Live In Real Life Art Exhibition Of Life and Live Coping Strategies In A Hyper Real Life
FK Alexander lives and works in Veneer Gallery, Argyle Street, Finnieston Glasgow – 28th APRIL – 5th MAY 2017 to create, dismantle and recreate attempts of living and surviving in hyper modernity
Using repetitive action, meditation, collage, coal, noise, metal and the gallery itself, FK Alexander will remain in the small area of Veneer Gallery Glasgow for a period of 7 days, sleeping, eating and working in a reduced way to explore methods of survival, endurance, pointlessness and control in a time of instability and fear.
Objects, visual art and film work will also be on display – text paintings in blood, bones, collage, pages of the National Enquier, Archive newspaper.
